This week, we checked in on Sub Season, shared more Spooky Season hints, and looked ahead to the rollout of our native app. We also talked about what’s next for collectible items, streaks, and the community helping us build it all.
Sub Season keeps growing
Sub Season has brought more new subscribers and renewals into the mix, and the community has already unlocked every app-wide sub star milestone variant.
Sub Season ends Sunday, September 27 at reset. There is still time to earn points, work toward your streamer’s milestones, and make the most of the event.
We’re also looking beyond September. More sub star variants and subscription benefits are planned for the future, with additional features to follow the native rebuild. We’re exploring how subscriber benefits can become part of future seasons throughout the year.
Busting is coming back
Spooky Season is getting closer, and we shared a few more hints about what’s waiting for the community:
- Ghostbusting is returning. Ghosts from previous seasons will be bustable again, bringing back different animations and endings.
- There will be more to discover together. Returning mechanics will be joined by new hidden elements and things for the community to unlock.
- The next amulet’s color is still a secret. The details are worth the wait… we promise.
Expect more teasers as we get closer to launch. We’re also planning updates to Studio so desktop streamers can take part in more of the Spooky Season experience.
Our native app is almost here
Testing is underway as we prepare to bring our rebuilt native app to the full community ahead of Spooky Season.
This is a major step for the app and the foundation for more of the features we’ve been working toward. Thank you to everyone testing, sharing screenshots, and sending detailed feedback. Every report helps our team prepare for the broader rollout.
You’ll need the updated app to participate in Spooky Season, so keep an eye out for the update before the event begins.
The native rollout and our official exit from beta are separate milestones. Testing and community feedback will continue after the update, with more details about leaving beta to come.
More community tournaments ahead
A big thank you to everyone who took part in the Military & First Responders tournament, and to the creators who brought it together. It was another chance to recognize the people behind the profiles and celebrate members of our community.
More creator-hosted events are on the way:
- Royal Family 2v2 tournament: Hosted by rf_queen_boss_bitch and rf_king_medic — September 25-27.
- Graveyard Games: Hosted by poet_family_networks — October 8-10.
Head to the Events Calendar in Discover for details on upcoming official events and approved community tournaments.
More possibilities for your collection
We’re working toward a marketplace where community members can trade, sell, and purchase collectible items earned through events.
The items you collect are part of an experience we plan to keep building on. We’ll share more about how the marketplace will work as development moves forward.
Streaks have more ahead
A broader streaks update is in the works, including the ability to freeze your streak in the app, recovery options, and more rewards tied to your progress.
Like verification rewards, streak rewards will continue to build over time. We also teased additional gifts connected to the system.
For now, if you have a question about your streak or need help with it, contact support@favorited.com so the team can review your situation.
Built around the people here
We also returned to the idea behind everything we’re building: making it easier for people to connect, participate, and create something together in real time.
Gifting helps us build around those interactions, and community feedback helps shape what comes next. From new gameplay to the native app, understanding how people actually use and enjoy the platform remains central to our work.
That participation will also be reflected in our planned beta badges, with different levels based on activity during the beta period. We’ll share more about those levels ahead of our official exit from beta.
