More room for creator-led events
A big thank you to queen_dragon and alphaghostflex for bringing the Avatar Legends Gaming Tournament to life. It was a chance to see creators build a different kind of competition on Favorited, and we’re excited to keep expanding what gaming can look like here.
There are more creator tournaments ahead this month:
- Creator World Championship: October 15–17, hosted by elvo_zsa.
- Last Streamer Standing: October 30–November 1, hosted by 1el_chapoescobar.
Head to the Events Calendar in Discover for tournament details and the latest schedule.
Fav Haunted Mansion
Next week’s creator-led event will also bring collaborations and new faces to the app. Favorited is supporting the creators behind it as part of our growing work with community-led events.
Have an event idea? Share it with the partnerships team, including what you want to create, who’s involved, and how you plan to promote it. A clear event and promotion plan helps the team understand where support could make a difference.
Building beyond each season
The rebuilt app gives us more room to introduce features that stay beyond an event. Going forward, more seasonal updates will bring permanent mechanics, alongside smaller additions we can test and develop with community feedback.
We also shared an early look at Snowy Season. Expect familiar elements alongside new ones, with less intensive tapping planned. One of the design goals is to make full participation possible without needing an auto-tapper.
Helping the team investigate reports
The most useful support reports include your phone model, what you were doing when the issue occurred, and screenshots or a screen recording where possible. Those details help the team identify the cause and work toward a fix.
Send app issues through support in your profile or email support@favorited.com.
Continuing to build for a safer community
We also heard directly from community members about their experiences and what would help them feel safer on Favorited.
The priorities discussed were faster responses to abusive behavior, stronger tools to address ban evasion, and clearer visibility into enforcement. Additional moderation tools are in development to help the team respond more quickly and completely.
Our goal is for people to feel safe meeting new people, joining battles, and spending time together. Thank you to everyone who shared their perspective and helped make those priorities clear.
