How to set or change your default payout method in Stripe

If you have more than one payout method on your Stripe account, your earnings are sent to whichever method is set as the default. This guide shows you how to check your default payout method and update it, keeping it current prevents delays in receiving your payouts.

Before you start

You'll need access to the Stripe account you used when setting up payouts with favorited.

Set your default payout method

1. Log in to your Stripe account at connect.stripe.com/express_login.

2. Tap Menu in the top-left corner.

   

3. Tap Settings.

   

4. Scroll down to Payout details.

5. Find the payout method you want to use, tap the ⋯ menu beside it. 

   

6. Then tap Set as default.
   

Remove an old payout method (optional)

If you have an outdated or incorrect payout method on file, you can remove it instead:

1. In Payout details, tap the ⋯ menu beside the old payout method.

2. Tap Remove.

   

Verify it worked

Back in Payout details, your preferred payout method should now show a Default label. Future payouts will be sent there automatically.
